Once you click on the continue button you will be redirected to the mission overview page that holds information on that mission.

Mission Overview

A mission is a sequence of tasks in a course. The mission overview displays all of the tasks in a particular mission. Clicking on the task will give you a short description of the task and the mastery requirements of that mission. You can click on the start button to begin the task!

Task

A task represent a single assignment for a student. Tasks contain text, images, videos, multiple choice questions, and free response questions. As you progress through the task, your answers will be saved.

The task rubric displays the requirements of the task, which can be checked off by the user as they are completed.

Some task pages may require you to answer all questions before moving on to the next page. One you are done with a task, click submit to finish the task and see your results.

Task Review

After submitting a task, you will be directed to the task review page. Here, you can see the results of your task submission. You can see your overall score at the top. The 'Quiz Review' tab shows each question from the task, and whether you answered correctly. The 'Task Results' tab shows overall questions correct and points gained. The last tab, the 'Get Help' tab is where the student can ask the teacher a question. The 'Get Help' tab is currently not connected to the backend.

Goals

The goals tab is a collection of goals and sub goals that a student wishes to accomplish. On clicking the + icon, you will be able to add the following:

  • Goals

  • SubGoals

  • Categories

  • Due Date for Goals and/or Sub Goals

You can click the drop down icon to view sub goals of a particular goal. You can click on the arrow icon to check off a goal/subgoal. You can click it again to undo this change.

Note: Goals with subgoals do not have this feature. Each individual subgoal must be checked off in order to achieve this.

You can click on the pencil icon next to a goal to either edit the goal and its subgoals, or delete a goal. You can delete a subgoal by editing that particular goal.

You can click on the filter by category button, to filter your goals. You may 'star' goals by clicking on the checkbox to the left. Click on the checkbox again to undo this change. Starred goals will be shown first.

Progress

The progress section is where students can view their progress through Missions and Learning Targets. You can switch between Missions and Learning Targets through the tab on the top right.

Click on an individual mission or learning target to see data visualization pertaining to your progress through the mission or learning target.
